Paper and More features work by local Massachusetts artists and jewelers.
Tracey Smith
Tracey brings years of professional jewelry
experience to her company, Facets. Tracey began her career at a
Boston-based jewelry wholesale firm Tracey where she was a diamond
buyer. She developed an internal ‘GemLab’ where she was responsible for the
analysis and authentication of precious and semi-precious stones.
After honing her diamond experience in the heart of New York’s Diamond
District, Tracey moved to the Thomas Long Company as the fine jewelry
buyer for Long’s Jewelers. It was at Long’s Jewelers that Tracey
developed a keen eye for jewelry design and merchandising.

Gail McCormick
Paper and More currently carries a series of handmade cards crafted by local Arlington artist Gail McCormick. These cards beautifully depict local Arlington historic buildings. Gail is an accomplished local Arlington artist. Her work was recently featured in an exhibit at the Arlington Town Hall called Our Fragile Earth to bring focus on environmental issues.

Karen Smith
In early October, we began offering scented soaps by Karen Smith, a local artisan. Karen practices her craft in Lincoln, MA. Her soaps are all natural, and handmade, with all of her materials and ingredients source from US suppliers.

A store favorite is Christmas Farm Inn, from Karen's storybook soap collection. It's made with hemp seed oil soap and the very best shea butter soap. The essential oils are a combination of cloves, balsam, pine, hints of vanilla musk and cinnamon. This is a warm and cozy soap for someone special in your life.

Edith Belle Designs Gail MacKenzie-Antin, the creative talent behind Edith Belle Designs is our first featured artist this month. Paper and More recently started carrying her handbags and headbands.
Gail has been designing and producing women's and children's accessories since she started Edith Belle Designs in 2005. As an accomplished fiber artist she has fashioned handbags out of wool, cotton, linen, and most recently leather. Her work demonstrates creativity and a sense of style. Her appreciation of people - some now her customers - comes from a refreshing life perspective she owes to her maternal grandmother, Edith Belle, who lived in Arlington and Belmont for most of her life and encouraged Gail to harness her creative spirit.Gail MacKenzie-Antin, the creative talent behind Edith Belle Designs is our first featured artist this month. Designs by Maria
Maria Testa of Designs by Maria, is a life long resident of
Massachusetts. She graduated from Massachusetts College of Art with a
BFA in Photography, which has guided her sense of composition, but her
true passion is for fiber and color. Maria's work
is ever evolving, as she moves from hand painted silk to more complex
collage scarves using a variety of hand dyed fibers and fabrics. Each
scarf is hand dyed and one of a kind, embellished with paints and
ribbons.
